Zosch! Als im Frühjahr 2018 ein gleißendes Licht den Nachthimmel über Franken erhellte, waren sich die Experten zumindest einigermaßen einig: Ein Meteorit hatte die Atmosphäre durchbrochen, kein Grund zur Beunruhigung. Wenige Wochen später erscheint eine 7‘‘, auf der drei offensichtlich außerterrestrische Space Girls von ihrem „Urlaub auf der Erde“ berichten. Zufall? Wohl eher nicht.

Die drei Saturn-Abkömmlinge, Marina, Bekki, Isa, - THE COME AND GO-GOs - haben ihre touristische Auszeit auf dem blauen Planeten nicht genossen. Verstört kehrten sie in die Heimat zurück. Dort entstand dieses Album, „Holidays on Earth“, das, das ist die gute Nachricht, auch für Erdlingsohren durchaus angenehm ist. Punkrock ist interstellar. Und wenn er mit Herz gespielt wird, funktioniert er hier wie dort und für alle Zeit.

THE COME AND GO-GOs spielen eine Sternenstaub-funkelnde Mischung aus Melody-Punk und Garagenrock. Mit ihrem dreistimmigen Gesang locken Marina, Bekki und Isa uns wie die Sirenen, um ihnen zu folgen, auf ihr Schiff und hinaus in eine bessere Welt. Es tanzt sich schöner in der Schwerelosigkeit.
